The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating after two suspects forced their way into a residence in Dartmouth.

On April 20 at 10:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a chemical irritant having been sprayed in the hallway of an apartment building in the 100 block of Crystal Drive. Upon arrival, officers met with a man and a woman suffering from the effects of a chemical irritant after their apartment door was kicked in by two suspects. The two men, who were described only as wearing bandanas or ski masks over their faces, were chased out of the building by one of the victims before the suspects had a chance to take anything. This is not believed to be a random incident.
