Police investigate Break & Enter GO#20-62914

On June 4 at 2:25a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in-progress in the 200 block of Spencer Avenue, Halifax. A man forced his way into the residence and was confronted by the home owner. The home owner forced the suspect out of the residence and sustained minor injuries in the process. The home owner did not require medical treatment. The suspect fled on foot.

Police located and arrested a 33-year-old man from Halifax a short distance from the residence. He is facing charges of Assault and Break & Enter.

Investigators from Patrol and the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating.
