Police investigate break and enter GO#22-136104

At 12:51 a.m. on November 5, Halifax Regional Police officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the 6200 block of North Street in Halifax. It was reported that an unknown man was inside of a residence residence stealing items. The man left on foot in an unknown direction. Patrol officers and a Police Service Dog searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. No one was physically injured. The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, 5’10” tall, slender build, wearing a long black jacket and hat. At the time of the incident, he was carrying a black backpack.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.
