On March 29 at 8:50 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of a motor vehicle collision where a car struck a utility pole in the 200 block of Victoria Road, Dartmouth. The utility pole was sheared off at the base. Witnesses reported a black Ford Mustang with a man driving and a woman passenger struck the pole and then continued driving North on Victoria Road. Patrol officers searched the area but could not locate the car or occupants.
The suspect vehicle is described to police as a new model black Ford Mustang with front and rear end damage.
