Police are requesting the public’s assistance to identify a man responsible for two indecent acts that occurred last week in Halifax.

On November 27 at 2:08 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man masturbating at the World Trade and Convention Centre (WTCC) located at 1800 Argyle Street. The man was observed in the corridor leading from the WTCC to Scotia Square and ran off when he was noticed. Despite a search of the area, he wasn’t located.

At 3:57 p.m., while officers were dealing with this call, another report was received from Parklane Mall located at 5657 Spring Garden Road for a man masturbating on the mall’s third floor. The man also left the area before police arrival and wasn’t located. After reviewing video surveillance from both locations, it is believed that the same man is involved in both calls.

The suspect is a white man in his twenties, 5’8”, medium build, with short dark hair and wearing glasses. At the time of these incidents, he was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and a dark toque.
