At 5:07 p.m. on August 18, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a collision inbound on Highway 102 near Exit 0, Halifax. A white Acura was traveling outbound from Bayers Road, crossed over the low median and was struck by a black Grand Caravan traveling inbound. The two occupants of the white Acura and the lone occupant of the Grand Caravan were taken to the hospital by EHS.
Update: The driver of the Caravan was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Both occupants of the Acura remain in hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
