UPDATE:  The motorcycle driver is a 30-year-old man from Dartmouth. No further update on the investigation. 

Police Investigate Motorcycle & Vehicle Collision

At 1:40 p.m. on September 15, Halifax Regional Police responded to a motorcycle and vehicle collision at Victoria Road and the 111 Highway, Dartmouth. A motorcycle travelling North bound on Victoria Road collided with a car in the centre/median lane, a van then collided with the motorcycle. An adult male operating the motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries and has been transported to the hospital.

The investigation is in the early stages and investigators with the Accident Investigation and Forensic Identification Section and are conducting the investigation. At this time it is not known if charges are pending.
