Police investigate robbery GO# 20-143169

On December 5 at 1:50 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Irving gas station located at 280 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Staff reported a man wearing all black tackled the staff member to the floor and removed the cash register till. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money toward Willett Street. The staff member was not injured, and no weapons were observed. Patrol officers and a Police Service Dog searched the area and have not located the suspect. 

The suspect is described to police as being a 6’0” tall white man, who is in his 30’s, with a medium build, wearing a black mask, black jacket and black sweat pants.
