At approximately 1:59 a.m. on December 27, police responded to a robbery in progress at the Needs convenience store located at 33 Herring Cove Road in Halifax. A man entered the store and demanded cash. The man fled the store on foot with an amount of cash. There were no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his 30s. At the time he was wearing a black parka with a red sweatshirt underneath; glasses and a black mask.
The investigation is in the early stages and investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspect or video from the area to contact police at 902-490-5016.
