Police are investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon in Halifax.
At approximately 4 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart, 5524 Spring Garden Road in Halifax. A man entered the store and handed the pharmacist a note demanding drugs. The pharmacist turned over an amount of drugs to the man, who then left the store on foot.Officers were quickly in the area and took a man matching the description of the suspect into custody. The investigation is in its early stages.
