Police investigate robbery GO#21- 34031

On March 23 at 1:50 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Needs Convenience, located at 6130 Chebucto Road, Halifax. A man entered the store, produced a knife and demanded money from the cash register. He was last seen walking south bound on Windsor Street. The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described to police as a white man, approximately 5’4” tall, between 40 to 50 years-old with a dark brown beard. He was wearing a dark colour toque, black jacket, grey sweatpants with grey and white sneakers.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation. Updates on the investigation will be provided when available.
