Police investigate robbery GO#21-78234

On June 30 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Scotia Bank at 3480 Dutch Village Road, Halifax.

A man entered the bank demanded money and indicated he had a weapon. No weapon was observed by witnesses. The man received a sum of cash and fled the bank on foot. Patrol officers attended but didn't locate the suspect.

The suspect is described to police as a white man who is believed to be in his 40's, standing approximately 5'5 with a heavy build. He was wearing a dark hoodie, khaki cargo pants and black sneakers, carrying a black bag with flowers on it.
