Police Investigate Robbery - Sambro

Members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section are currently on scene at a robbery in Sambro.

At approximately 8:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a residence in the 0-100 block of Francis Gray Drive. Upon arrival, officers located two victims, a man and woman, who stated that two masked men entered their home, restrained them and then stole several items from the home.

The man, who was assaulted during the incident, was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The woman was threatened during the event but wasn't injured. The victims believed the suspects were armed with weapons but none were seen.

The suspects remain at large at this time. The first suspect was described as a white man in his mid 20's, 5'10", stocky build, wearing a black hoodie, black ski mask, gray sweat pants and purple/black sneakers. The second suspect was described as a white man in his mid 20's, 5'10", stocky build, wearing a black top and black ski mask with red stitching.
