Update
Yesterday at 12:43 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to an apartment on Brookdale Crescent in Dartmouth following a call regarding the death of a 50-year-old man.
An autopsy was conducted this morning; however, further testing is required to determine the cause of death. Investigators are continuing to explore the circumstances surrounding the man’s death but foul play has been ruled out at this time. The man’s identity is not being released at this time.

Police are currently on scene at a suspicious death in Dartmouth.
At 12:43 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to an apartment on Brookdale Crescent following a call regarding the death of a man who is believed to be in his fifties.
The investigation is in its initial stages and police are treating the death as suspicious at this time.
