Police investigate theft of firearm

Police are investigating the theft of a firearm from a vehicle in Halifax.

On November 21 at approximately 6:45 a.m. police received a report of a number of vehicles that had been broken into and damaged on Highland Avenue. Responding officers discovered that a hunting rifle and ammunition had been stolen from one of the vehicles.

Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating the incidents. Anyone with information about this incident or video from the area is asked to call 902-490-5020.
