Police investigate vehicle collision GO#19-177383

On December 17 at 5:43 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Connaught Avenue and Bayers Road, Halifax. 

Update: Shortly after 6:50 p.m., a 40-year-old man from Halifax, the driver of one of the vehicles involved was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. It is too early to know the cause of the collision, but, speed is believed to be a factor.

Investigators from patrol and the Accident Investigation Section are conducting the investigation, which is ongoing.
