Police are on scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a plow truck in Halifax.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. police were called to a motor vehicle collision in the 2600 block of the old Sambro Road in Halifax. A Department of Transportation plow truck had struck another vehicle headed the opposite direction. The plow truck driver was not injured but the driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
While police were on scene a third vehicle traveling on Old Sambro Road lost control ending up in the ditch to avoid the other two vehicles. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The roadway was closed to traffic for a short time to remove the vehicles.
Charges are not anticipated as it believed the collision was due to road conditions.
