Police is investigating a bomb threat GO#19-138260

On September 26 at 12:17 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a building located in the 5600 block of Spring Garden Road, Halifax for a bomb threat after a call service received a threatening phone call from an anonymous caller. Once on scene police determined the wrong address was provided by the complainant and the threat was actually directed to a building located in the 100 block of Wyse Road, Dartmouth. Police quickly contained the area shutting down parts of Wyse Road, Nantucket Avenue and as a precaution the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge was closed.

The building was thoroughly searched with the assistance of K9 and nothing suspicious was located.

All roads and the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge are now open.
