Police Investigating Attempted Robbery

The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating an attempted robbery that occurred last night in Dartmouth.

At approximately 10:40 p.m., a 51-year-old man was walking in the 200 block of Windmill Road when he was approached by a man who threatened him with a knife and demanded his wallet. The victim hit the suspect with a bag of items he was carrying and fled the area. The man was not hurt and nothing was taken. The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s, 5’10”, 160 lbs. with a dark moustache. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark blue jacket.
