Police Investigating Break and Enter

The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating a break and enter that occurred yesterday in Dartmouth.

At 2:26 p.m., officers responded to a residential break and enter in the 0-100 block of Russell Street. A woman heard a knock at her front door, made her way through the house and observed a man cutting through the screen door. She yelled at the man who fled the area on foot up Russell Street.

The suspect is described as a black man, 25-30 years of age, 180 lbs., approximately 5’9”, with a long thin face. At the time of the incident, he was wearing long red basketball shorts, a grey t-shirt, black nylon jacket, black baseball cap and black high top sneakers with white laces.
