Police Investigating Incidents of Property Damage Involving Racist Words

Halifax Regional Police is investigating two separate incidents of property damage involving racist words.

Earlier today, a complainant reported to police that a racist word was spray-painted on the side of her vehicle in the 100-200 block of Windmill Road sometime overnight. While investigating this incident, officers became aware of a second vehicle in the 0-100 block of Stairs Street, also spray-painted with a racist word.

Police ask anyone with information about these incidents or the identity of the suspects involved to contact police at 490-5016.
