Police investigating robbery

Investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon in Halifax.

At 12:31 p.m., officers responded to Greco Pizza at 70 Lacewood Drive after a man entered the business, stated he had a gun, although none was seen, and demanded money. No one was hurt and the suspect fled on foot towards Vimy Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white man in his forties, 5’7” and heavy set with a moustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket, glasses and a blue hoodie covering his head.
