Police Investigating Robbery - Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police is currently on the scene of a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth.

At 4:22 p.m., police responded to a robbery at the Scotiabank located at 112 Wyse Road. A man entered the bank and handed a note demanding money and stating he had a gun to an employee. The man received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot from the bank. No gun was seen and no injuries occurred during the incident.

The suspect was described as a white man, approximately 5'7", 200 lbs., wearing a mask, sun glasses, jeans, a puffy jacket and gloves.

The Integrated HRP/RCMP General Investigative unit is currently investigating the incident. Anyone with information about this matter can contact police at 490-5016.
