Police Investigating Robbery - Lemarchant/Watts Streets

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are investigating a robbery that occurred last night in Halifax.

At 10 p.m., police responded to a robbery in the area of Lemarchant and Watts Streets. Four males, three aged 17 and one aged 16, were walking in the area when they were approached by two men. Both suspects had knives and were wearing bandanas over their faces. The victims were ordered to the ground where they were relieved of their cell phones. The victims were not injured and both men fled on foot heading north through LeMarchant St. Thomas schoolyard. The first suspect is described as a white man, 18-23-years-old, 5’9” and wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The second suspect is described as a black man, 18-23-years-old, 6’2” and wearing a dark leather jacket.
