Police Investigating Shots Fired

Police are investigating a report of shots being fired this morning in Halifax.

At 11:11 a.m., police received a report of shots being fired in the 3200 block of Isleville Street. Patrol officers arrived on scene and located spent shell casings. A black car was seen leaving the area and it appears that one of the windows may have been damaged by gunfire. Hospitals in the area have been notified and there are no reported injuries at this time.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised that Isleville Street between Livingstone and Stairs Streets is closed at this time. Investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are on scene and are in the early stages of the investigation.
