Police investigating shots fired in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police is investigating an incident that occurred on Romans Avenue at Federal Avenue in Halifax. At about 7:19 p.m. on December 13, police received a report that a vehicle had been shot at while in the intersection by an occupant of another vehicle. A passenger in one of the vehicles was hit in the arm. The vehicle left the area and arrived at the QE2 hospital where a youth was treated for minor injuries and is presently still in hospital. Members of Patrol, the Integrated General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section are continuing to investigate the incident. Officers are trying to locate a suspect and the vehicle they were travelling in.
