HRM Partners in Policing are issuing an apology after a picture of a man was released in error indicating he had a warrant.

Yesterday afternoon, police released a list containing names and pictures of ten people whom we indicated had outstanding warrants. Investigators learned today that the warrant for Clarence Carvery was recalled by the courts in Ontario in September 2011 but inadvertently wasn’t removed from the national data base.

HRM Partners in Policing have implemented additional processes in hopes of preventing this from happening again. We apologize to Mr. Carvery and his family for any inconvenience this has caused. Anyone who has used his name/picture is asked to remove it from any internet/social media sites immediately.
