Halifax Regional Police charged multiple drivers with speeding in Halifax last Friday.
The HRP Traffic Unit was monitoring traffic in the area of the 102 Highway as it approaches Bayers Road and Dartmouth Road in Bedford for speeding violations. Over a period of a couple of hours officers, issued 19 summary offence tickets for speeding and eight additional tickets for other offences such as no insurance and operating unregistered vehicles.
In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our Traffic Section focus on speed enforcement. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe.
