Investigators with the Collision Investigation Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in locating witnesses to a fatal car/pedestrian collision that occurred on Saturday in Dartmouth.

On May 3, at 11:05 a.m., police responded to a car/pedestrian collision at the intersection of Thistle Street and Victoria Road in Dartmouth. A white pick-up truck driven by a 50-year-old man was travelling south on Victoria Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Thistle Street. A 57-year-old woman using a three-wheeled scooter was travelling north, crossing Thistle Street at this intersection in a marked crosswalk.
