Police Make an Arrest in Robbery

Halifax Regional Police has a man in custody in relation to a robbery that occurred over the weekend.

On October 27 at 8:20 p.m., a 24-year-old man was assaulted by two other men outside of the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission on Tacoma Drive in Dartmouth. During the assault, the suspects removed jewellery from the victim. The suspects were last seen running around the back of the building. Police searched the area but the suspects were not located. This was not a random act and the suspects were known to the victim.

At 7:52 p.m. last night, officers assigned to the West Quick Response Unit arrested a 24-year-old man in relation to this incident. He was held in custody overnight and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face charges of robbery and numerous breaches of court orders.
