Police release photos from bank robbery

Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man who robbed a bank in Halifax last month.

On November 16 at 6 p.m., a man entered the TD Bank located at 6239 Quinpool Road. He passed the teller a note indicating he had a weapon and wanted cash. The teller complied and the man took the money and fled the bank. Patrol officers as well as K9 attended but couldn't locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, clean shaven, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, and wearing a light coloured toque and a grey sweat suit with a lime green and yellow pattern down both sides. Photos of the suspect are attached.

Investigators are asking anyone who can identify the suspect and/or who has any information on this incident to contact police by calling 902-490-5020.
