Update - February 14

Halifax Regional Police received information today that Michael David Patterson was believed to be at an address in Halifax District RCMP jurisdiction. Acting on the information, RCMP attended an apartment building on St. Margaret’s Bay Road in Timberlea at noon and arrested him without incident.

Halifax Regional Police and Halifax District RCMP thank the media and the public for their assistance with this matter.

Police Request Public’s Assistance

The HRP/RCMP High Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) is asking for the public’s help in locating a man with an outstanding warrant.

Twenty-nine-year-old Michael David Patterson was paroled from prison late last year. On February 11, a Canada Wide Parole Warrant was issued for his arrest after he walked away from a half-way house in Halifax. Investigators have attempted to locate him without success. It is believed that Patterson is still in Nova Scotia, although he has ties to Ontario. He is described as a white man, 6’4”, 230 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes and wears glasses.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Michael David Patterson is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5020 or their local police department.
