Police Request Public’s Assistance

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a break and enter that occurred last week in Halifax.

On October 17, at 1:45 a.m., officers responded to a call at the RBC Bank located at 5161 George Street. A witness reported that the glass partition separating the ATM and the bank was broken. Officers reviewed video surveillance and a man was observed breaking the partition and entering the bank before leaving the same way.

Police are releasing pictures of the suspect and ask for the public’s help to identify him. He is described as a white man in his twenties, medium build, unshaven with short black hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark jacket, dark jeans, sneakers with white soles, and he was carrying a black backpack with white trim.
