Police request the public’s assistance in break and enter investigations

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating property that has been stolen in relation to six break and enters that occurred earlier this month in Halifax.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating six break and enters that are believed to have occurred in the early morning hours between October 8 and October 12. In each incident, the suspect entered underground parking garages in the Clayton Park area and broke into multiple storage lockers and stole the contents.

Property that was taken includes:

  • Barnett Vortex bow
  • Cases of alcohol
  • Power tools
  • Several unique bicycles:  
  • Carbon fiber Giant TCR Alliance W bicycle
  • 2021 red Daymak Tofino X electric bicycle
  • White with blue trim Cervélo R3 carbon fiber bicycle with black aero wheels
  • Matte dark cyan KONA Big Honzo bicycle

The suspect is described as a man with short black hair, in his 40s, approximately 5’8” tall and 170 lbs. At the time of the incidents, he was wearing dark pants, grey t-shirt, black sneakers with white soles, a dark leather jacket.
