Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in a break and enter and robbery that occurred in December in Halifax.

On December 17, at 1 a.m., a 25-year-old man was home alone in his apartment in the 2600 block of Gladstone Street in Halifax. He heard a knock at his door and when he answered, he was confronted by three men, all of whom had their faces covered. One was armed with a handgun and another with a crowbar. The suspects ransacked the apartment and removed various electronic items, clothing and personal items. The victim, who was not injured during the incident, ran to a nearby store after the suspects left and called police. A number of officers responded and a K-9 unit attempted a track without success.

At 2:14 a.m., two suspects entered the Scotiabank located at 5656 Spring Garden Road and were captured on the ATM video surveillance attempting to access the victim’s bank account. They left shortly after on foot.
