Police Request Public’s Assistance - Theft of Poppy Donation Can

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a theft of a poppy donation can that occurred Sunday in Dartmouth.

On November 3, shortly after 1 a.m., a woman entered the Irving gas station located at 626 Windmill Road and took a poppy donation can from the counter before leaving on foot. 

Police are releasing pictures of the suspect and asking for the public’s help to identify her. She is described as a white woman in her twenties, 5’5”, medium build, blond hair and wearing a black jacket.

Anyone with information about this woman’s identity or this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
