Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run collision that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in Halifax.

On May 11, at 4:33 a.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Agricola Street after a witness called police to report that a car had been struck and pushed approximately one block down the street. Damage to the car was extensive but there was no report of injuries as the car was unoccupied at the time of the collision. Given the extensive damage to the hit vehicle, it is believed that the run vehicle, described as a metallic blue four doors sedan, would not have travelled far from the scene.

Anyone with information on this collision is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip - Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
