Police searching for stolen horse saddle

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the individual(s) responsible for stealing a horse saddle from a parked car in Halifax earlier this month.

Between September 1 at 11 p.m. and September 2 at 6 p.m., unidentified suspect(s) broke into a car parked in a residential driveway in the 6200 block of Allan Street and stole a horse saddle that was stored inside.  

The saddle is black and bears the brand name G. Passier & Sohn, Hanvover printed on a metal tag. The inner flap is stamped with PS-BAUM, 18.0 and “Made in Germany”. There is no description of the suspects at this time.

Anyone with information on the location of this saddle or on the identity of the suspects involved is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
