Police Searching for Vehicle Involved in a Theft

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle used to steal a Bobcat utility vehicle from Bayer’s Lake Industrial Park in Halifax earlier this month.

On March 3, at approximately 7:30 p.m., unidentified suspect(s) attended a parking lot at 102 Chain Lake Drive and stole a Bobcat utility vehicle that was stored at that location. The suspect(s) used a vehicle which was captured on video.

The vehicle is described as an early 2000 model Chevrolet Silverado, heavy duty series, white in color with an orange beacon, towing a heavy duty trailer. The vehicle could be used by a legitimate company as the front door logos were covered with duct tape.

Anyone with information on the vehicle, this crime or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
