Police are requesting the public’s assistance in finding the owner of a quantity of money found in Bedford.
On May 15, police responded to a report of money that had been found outside a building in the 1200 block of the Bedford Highway by several people between May 13 and 15.
Police are asking the owner or anyone with information about the money to call police at 902-490-5016. To claim the money, you must be able to provide details in relation the amount and denominations and any other information useful in determining ownership.
We thank the people who found the money for doing the right thing and turning it over to police.
