Police are asking for the public’s assistance in relation to the investigation into a vehicle pedestrian collision in Halifax last month.

On November 13 at approximately 8:30 p.m. police responded to a report of an injured woman in the parking lot of a business at 55 Peakview Way in Halifax. When officers arrived on scene, it was not clear how the woman had been injured. The woman, 41, was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Through the investigation, officers determined that the driver did not remain at the scene after striking the woman with their vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a light-colored SUV with a sunroof and roof rails.

Police are asking the driver, or anyone who was in the area and has information or video in relation to the collision, to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
