Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents of the next phase of street closures that will be in place on a series of streets in downtown Halifax, while crews install a water main in the area.

Prince Street, between Grafton Street and Brunswick Street, and Market Street, between Prince Street and Sackville Street, will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, re-opening at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18.

Local traffic will be accommodated, and pedestrians will continue to have access to the sidewalks in the area during these closures.

Residents are advised that further rolling street closures in the area may be required over the next few weeks as installation of underground infrastructure continues. Additional Public Service Announcements with specific locations and times will be communicated as available. The municipality regrets any inconvenience these street closures may cause.
