Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will be paving on Quinpool Road in Halifax overnight tonight between the CN Rail bridge to Elm Street.
This work will begin at 7 p.m. on the section between the bridge and Newton Avenue. After 11 p.m., the traffic signals at Quinpool and Connaught Avenue will be shut down and paving will proceed along Quinpool to Elm Street. Traffic control personnel will be in place while the signals are shut off. This work will wrap up and the street will reopen at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17.
Quinpool Road will be closed to large truck traffic during this work. There will be lane drops in place while this work is underway and motorists should expect delays in the area. Please use alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
