Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents the temporary sidewalk on the south side of Quinpool Road will be closed tomorrow and Wednesday between Civic No. 6132 and Vernon Street to facilitate the installation of power poles in the area.
East-bound pedestrians are asked to cross Quinpool Road at Monastery Lane and west-bound pedestrians are asked to cross Quinpool Road at Vernon Street. Pedestrians will use the sidewalk on the north side of the street. The sidewalk will remain open in front of all businesses.
Vehicular traffic will not be disrupted as a result of this work.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this sidewalk closure may cause.
