Monday, Aug. 10, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Richmond Street in Halifax is closed to vehicle traffic this week to facilitate the installation of a new watermain in the area.
The street is now closed between Connor Lane and Devonshire Avenue. Local traffic requiring access to Richmond or Connor will need to enter from Barrington Street while this work is underway.
The street is expected to reopen at about 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug, 15. Motorists are asked to use alternative routes in the meantime. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
