Friday, June 27, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a block of Barrington Street will be closed to vehicles this weekend while crews install municipal services to a new building in the area.
Starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, Barrington will be shut down between Sackville Street and Blowers Street, in both directions. A detour will be in place for buses and other vehicle traffic.
Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of the street throughout the closure. Barrington will reopen to traffic at about 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 29.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
