Work details: This closure is to facilitate the installation of underground infrastructure.
Traffic impact: The auxiliary section of Bedford Highway will be closed to through traffic at civic 974 to allow for street excavation and the installation of underground infrastructure. Through traffic will be restricted while work is underway, but the section of road will reopen each day. The sidewalk in the area will remain open, and signage will be in place to help direct motorists around the work site. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.

Détails du travail : Cette fermeture vise à faciliter l’installation d’infrastructures souterraines.
Impact sur la circulation : Le tronçon auxiliaire de l’autoroute de Bedford sera fermé à la circulation à la hauteur de la route 974 pour permettre l’excavation de la rue et l’installation de l’infrastructure souterraine. La circulation sera restreinte pendant que les travaux sont en cours, mais le tronçon de route rouvrira chaque jour. Le trottoir restera ouvert et des panneaux de signalisation seront en place pour orienter les automobilistes autour du chantier. Les automobilistes doivent s’attendre à des ralentissements et on leur demande d’emprunter d’autres itinéraires dans la mesure du possible.
