Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Harbour Bridges, will begin work tonight on an underground conduit across Barrington Street near Cornwallis Street in Halifax.
This work will begin at 7 p.m. and continue overnight until about 6:30 a.m. The project is expected to take two nights to complete, depending on the weather. Crews expect to be able to maintain one lane of traffic in each direction at all times during the work.
Motorists should expect some delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality and Halifax Harbour Bridges apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
