Shortly before midnight on August 3, East Division officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery at Robert’s Pizza and Donair on Windmill Road in Dartmouth.

Upon arrival officers located an employee who was bleeding as he had sustained deep cuts to his hands and arms.

He stated he was working in the restaurant and a man and woman entered and robbed him armed with a knife. During the robbery the victim sustained cuts that required medical attention to his hands. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers, with help of the public were able to locate the responsible parties at an apartment building in the 0-100 block of Primrose Street in Dartmouth.

The Integrated General Investigation Section is currently interviewing a 27 year-old man and a 23 year-old woman in connection with the robbery.

The victim was treated at the scene and subsequently transported to hospital for further care. More information on this matter will be released as it becomes available.
