Robbery Charges - UPDATE

A fourth man has been charged in connection with a serious assault and robbery that occurred on Friday, May 10, in Herring Cove.

At approximately 8 p.m., the 18-year-old male victim met with four men known to him in a public parking lot in Halifax. They entered a vehicle and drove to the Herring Cove lookout where the victim was seriously assaulted by the suspects who also stole his money before leaving him at the scene. The victim made his way to his residence and contacted police. He was transported to hospital where he was treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. This was not a random incident.

On the same day, officers arrested three men in connection to this incident. Cody Thomas Flint, 20, Alexander Ross Quackenbush, 19, and Cody Francis Arsenault, 20, all from Halifax. They are all facing charges of assault causing bodily harm and robbery.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. today, 20-year-old Robert Lewis of Halifax turned himself in at police headquarters. He was held in custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today facing charges of assault causing bodily harm and robbery.
